Equity tips:-

NIFTY:-

                                Markets end flat, Tata Motors top Sensex gainer


  • Nifty ended at 10,147 level, down by 5 points, while Sensex closed at 32,402 level, down by 21 points. The Nifty50 index opened higher but consolidated near the important mark of 10,150 throughout the day. There were 833 advances, 821 declines and 305 unchanged stocks on NSE, reflecting mixed sentiments floating in the market. India VIX ended higher by 0.19% at 11.46 level.
  • Tata Motors was the star performer of the day, ended at Rs 424 per share, up by 4.6%. The stock touched its intraday high of Rs 428.2 per share, up by Rs 22.85 per share or 5.63%. The stock helped the major indices to hold their gains.
  • In the broader markets, BSE Mid-cap index closed at 16,110 level, up by 0.13% while BSE Small-cap index closed at 16,893 level, up by 0.36%. 
  • Bank Nifty ended at 25,038 level, down by 8.8 points or 0.04%. IDFC Bank was the top loser in the index closing at Rs 59.95 per share, marginally down by 1.32%.
  • BSE Oil & Gas index was the top gaining index, which closed at 15,395 level, up by 1.15%. GAIL was the top gainer on the index ending at Rs 421.7 per share, up by 5.25%. 
  • BSE Metal index was the top losing index, which closed at 13,986 level, down by 81 points or 0.58%. Coal India was the top loser in the index ending at Rs 258 per share, down by 2.57%.

Nifty Tips
  • In Tuesday’s trading session Benchmark Indices Nifty opened on a flat note and traded with sideways movement throughout the day Nifty end session on a subdued note at 10,147 level losing 5 points. Tata Motors, Tata Motors DVR and GAIL were the top gainers on index.
  • In Tuesday's trading session some profit booking was observed from higher levels.
  • Nifty index is sustaining above its major support level of 10130 on daily chart.
  • In next trading session upside movement can be observed in it and it can test up side levels of 10200 & 10240 while down side 10130 with act as good support level.

  • In Tuesday’s trading session Bank Nifty index opened on flat note & traded with sideways movement throughout the day Bank Nifty ended at 25,038 level, down by 8.8 points or 0.04%. IDFC Bank was the top loser in the index closing at Rs 59.95 per share, marginally down by 1.32%.  
  • Bank Nifty index is sustaining above its major support level of 25000 on daily chart. 
  • In next trading session upside movement can be observed in it and it can test up side levels of 25150 & 25250 while down side 24940 with act as good support level.

    Tata Motors stock gains over 4.5% after 3.7 Cr shares or 1.2% equity) trade on NSE & BSE on an average of Rs 421/sh. Tata Sons may raise stake by 1.7%

    Thyssenkrupp says ready to consider EU steel merger with Tata Steel, as per media reports.  

    Coal India stock falls 2.5%; arm may face Rs 200 bn penalty.

    Trent stock zooms 7% high on plan to sell groceries online.

    Himachal Futuristic stock down 4.5% as company denies merger with RJio.

    Mahindra Lifespace stock spurts 4% on pact with IFC. Stock rises 3%.


    Market News:-

                   Tata Chemicals gains on share sale to Tata Sons

    Tata Chemicals has sold its stake in Tata Global Beverages to Tata Sons during Tuesday’s trade.

     The company has sold 4,31,75,140 equity shares of face value of Rs 1 each of Tata Global Beverages Limited to Tata Sons Limited at price of Rs 213.35 per share (excluding brokerage and STT), the company informed through a BSE filing. 

    Meanwhile, the stock gained 2.37% at Rs 657.75 per share on BSE attracting a total traded quantity of 106.30 lakh shares. The stock traded on a fresh 52-week high of Rs 666.75 per share and also witnessed a spurt in the volume of 126.97 times. 

    The stock on yearly basis has given 18.57% returns and has underperformed BSE Midcap index and Nifty Commodities.  

    Tata Chemicals Limited is a holding company. The company is a manufacturer of soda ash and sodium bicarbonate for diverse industries, such as glass, detergents, silicates, textiles, food, pharmaceuticals, animal feed, mining and chemical processing.
