Opening Bell – Nifty opens below 10K mark; Dr Reddy’s top loser

Equity tips:-   The S&P BSE Sensex opened marginally lower by 2 points at 32381, while the Nifty50 opened lower by 23 points at 9996 mark. Bank Nifty has opened at 24744 level, down by 178 points. ITC was the top Sensex gainer trading at Rs 293 per share, up by 1.52% whereas Dr Reddy's was the top Sensex loser trading at Rs 2505 per share, down by 4.44%. On the broader markets, BSE Mid-cap index was trading at 15221 level, down by 0.23% and BSE Small-cap index was trading at 15980 level, up by 0.22%. There were 531 advances, 902 declines and 477 unchanged stocks on NSE reflecting bears dominating bulls in morning hours. Nifty50 has support placed in the region of 9,920-9,930, and if this support is breached, the next support is seen at levels of 9,880 and 9,840. On the way up, the level of 10,100-10,120 will act as a key resistance zone for the Nifty50. The rupee has opened at 64.19 per US Dollar lower by 8 paise at its one-month high level.

Positive global cues may push markets higher, but expect volatility due to F&O expiry

Equity tips:-                                             Indian markets are set to open slightly higher on Thursday following positive sentiments prevailing in Asian markets and positive hangover from Wall Street. The SGX Nifty, which was trading at 10,046, up by 15 points, also indicated that the local indices may open slightly higher. Today is the expiry day for July F&O contracts, so expect some volatility in the second half of trading session.    Nifty50 managed to close above five digit mark of 10,000 for the first time ever. Now, going forward, Nifty50 may face resistance in the zone of 10,080-10,100 level. On the other hand, the levels of 9,930-9,940 will act as a crucial support zone from a near term perspective. Equity tips:- stock cash tips Markets are trading on a positive note wherein Nifty is hovering at 9990 level and BSE Sensex gained 52 points. BSE Metal is the top gaining index in the morning session on Wednesday. It is up by 1.74% at 12,504. Vedanta is contributing majorly to the index gains and pushing it to higher levels. Vedanta is trading up 2.22% at Rs 280.50 per share on BSE. Other stocks in the index viz. Jindal Steel & Power is up 4.7% at Rs 146.50 per share, JSW Steel is up 2.6% at Rs 220.75 per share, National Aluminium is up 2.2% at Rs 72.25 per share, NMDC is up 2.2% at Rs 123.85 per share and Tata Steel is up 1.7% at Rs 563.00 per share. Equity tips:-   Indian markets are likely to open on a flat note with positive bias on Tuesday, tracking subdued cues prevailing across Asian markets. The SGX Nifty, which was trading at 9,973 up by 10 points, also indicated flat opening for the local indices.  Nifty50 managed to cross the hurdle zone of 9,930-9,940 on a closing basis. Now, going forward, the level of 10,000, which a key psychological level, may act as a resistance level. On the other hand, the level of 9,920-9,930 will not act as an important support level for Nifty50.  Key results for the day: Asian Paint, Axis Bank, Bharti Airtel, Hero Motocorp, Raymond and VEDL. Equity tips:-                      Indian markets are likely to open flat on Monday, following mixed cues prevailing across Asian peers. The SGX Nifty, which was trading at 9,922, up by 10 points, also signalled flat opening for domestic indices.  Nifty50 managed to close above its important psychological level of 9,900.
