NIFTY:-

NiftyTips
  • In Thursday’s trading session Benchmark indices Nifty ended in positive territory. Nifty closed higher by 0.07% or 7 points at 10,086 level. Axis Bank and Tata Motors aided the Nifty 50 index to close in green. Axis Bank closed higher by 4.04% at Rs 519.45 per share and Tata Motors closed higher 3.63% at Rs 403.80 per share.

  • Nifty gained some momentum in the opening session to march gradually towards the recent high of 10131. However, we saw some strong profit booking in the broader market in later part of the market to pull the index well below the 10100 mark .

  • Nifty made its attempt to retest the yesterday high; but, some decent profit booking dragged the index lower from a kissing distance. Going ahead, we would expect some kind of consolidation in a range of 10030– 10138 with slightly higher volatility.

  • In next trading session some profit booking can be observed from higher levels and it can test down side levels of 10030 & 10000 if it breaches its next support level of 10060 while up side 10138 will act as a good resistance level to watch.

 BANKNIFTY:-

BankNifty
  • The Nifty Bank index opened yesterday's session on a positive note and traded with a positive bias. However, the index lost the gains in last hour of the trade and ended the day @ 24912 level, up by 72 points or 0.32% Post the recent breakout; some of the private sector & public sector heavyweights have seen a positive momentum with decent volumes. This has led to a positive momentum in the Nifty Bank index too. So far there is no sign of any reversal in the index as well as the heavyweights.

  • In next trading session further up side movement can be observed in Nifty Bank Index and it can test up side levels of 25050 & 25150 if it crosses its next resistance level of 25000 while down side 24800 will act as a good support level to watch.
