Opening Bell - Nifty, Sensex opens at all-time high

Equity tips:- The BSE Sensex opened higher by 91 points at 31896, while the Nifty50 opened higher by 21 points at the 9807 mark. ITC was top Sensex gainer and was trading at Rs 333.8 per share, up by 1.55% whereas ONGC was top Sensex loser and was trading at Rs 162 per share, down by 0.09% at the opening bell on Thursday. There were 995 advances, 375 declines and 475 unchanged stocks on NSE reflecting strong positive sentiments in the market. All the sectoral indices on BSE were trading in positive territory. BSE Mid-cap index was trading at 15177 level, up by 93 points while BSE Small-cap index was trading at 15981 level, up by 84 points. Hindustan Petroleum Corporation was top gainer in Mid-cap index while Lypsa Gems was top gainer in Small-cap index. Muted opening likely for the markets

Equity tips:-   Indian markets are likely to start on a flat note on Monday tracking mixed cues from Asian peers. The SGX Nifty, which was trading at 10,036, remained almost unchanged, indicating a muted opening for the local benchmark indices.  Now, going ahead, the level of 10,100-10,120 will act as a key resistance zone for the Nifty50. The level of 9,920-9,940 is a good support zone for the Nifty50. Key results for the day: BEL, Hexaware, ICL, Indigo, Tech Mahindra, Godrej Consumer Products, Siemens, Shriram Transport, Torrent Pharma, UPL and V-Guard. Back home, Indian shares opened the last trading session of the week with a gap-down but recouped the early losses in the afternoon session to close flat. Markets likely to open flat; services sector growth contracts in July

Equity tips:- Indian equity markets are likely to open flat on Friday following mixed sentiments prevailing in Asian markets. The SGX Nifty, which was trading at 10,042 unchanged, hinting at a flat start for the day. Nifty50 has immediate support placed around level of 9,980 and the next support is seen around the level of 9,920. On the upside, resistance is seen around the level of 10,065 and the next resistance around the level of 10,100.  Key results for the day: Apollo Tyre, Arvind, Berger Paint, Dabur, EID Parry, Fortis, M&M, Hindustan Petroleum, GSFC and Repco Home. Back home, Indian markets ended lower for the second consecutive session on Thursday as private survey showed that India’s services sector contracted in July and slipped to its lowest level in nearly four years.
