The Indian Stock Market opens on a negative on a Wednesday, before the result of RBI fifth bi-monthly policy review. The S&P BSE Sensex opened at 36,035.65, and also the nifty50 measuring device of the National Stock Exchange (NSE), opened at 10,820.45.  At 9:17Am, the Sensex was at 35,949.25, down 185.06 points or 0.51% and also the nifty50 was at 10,808.55, with a loss of 60.95 points or 0.56%.In the last session, Sensex had closed at 36,134.31 and the Nifty at 10,869.  The top gainers stocks are: IOC, ONGC, NTPC, Infratel, BPCL, HDFC Bank, Sunpharma and GAIL.  The Top losers stocks are – Hindalco, Tatamotors, Titan, ITC, Kotak Bank and Infy. Opening Bell - Markets open higher

Equity tips:- Equity tips The BSE Sensex opened higher by 111 points at 31,798, while the Nifty50 opened higher by 37 points at 9,971 mark. Bank of Baroda is top Nifty gainer trading at Rs 139.15 per share, up by 1.72% while Vedanta is top Nifty loser trading at Rs 326.15 per share, down by 1.2%. Bank Nifty is trading at 24,505 level, up by 134 points or 0.55%. Nifty has a cluster of resistance in the zone of 9,980-10,000. Successful breakout of this resistance zone may unfold a fresh leg of up-move towards the levels of 10,080 and 10,140. On the other hand, support is seen around 9,880 and 9,850 levels.   On the broader markets, BSE Mid-cap index is trading at 15,833 level, up by 0.5% while BSE Small-cap index is trading at 16,393 level, up by 0.42%.   Indian rupee opened weak at 63.91 per USD. Equity tips:- Indian equity markets are likely to begin the day with marginal gains on Tuesday, tracking positive cues from Asian peers. The SGX Nifty, which was trading at 10,127, up by 21 points, hinted at domestic bourses opening on a flat note with positive bias. Nifty50 is likely to face resistance around the recent high of around 10,114, and once this level is pierced, the index may march up to the levels of 10,200-10,240. On the downside, the level of 10,000 may act as a support and the next support is seen at the level of 9,940. Key results for the day: JSW Steel, Marico, PC Jeweller, PEL and Power Grid. Back home, after opening the day on a flat note, Indian benchmark indices travelled northwards and settled at the end of the day at fresh all-time closing high levels.
